Tri Cities, WA

I spent a weekend last month working on some scenery and landscape photography for a project. As mentioned previously, I don't shoot a lot of landscape stuff but I think there were some keepers. And holy wow, you get some really vivid and contrasty colors on Fuji NPZ 800 at sunrise and sunset.

Kevin / Miquelle

I'm heading up to Utah in a couple of weeks for some wedding celebrations. Kevin and Miquelle are getting married!

I had a great time walking around and exploring with them when they were in town a couple of months ago.

I tried to branch out a little and shoot some landscapes. I usually am bored by landscape photography but it was nice to get out and drive/walk around a little (even if it was 108F).

Ugh, I hate bad scans. I need to re-do this one, and most on this roll, as they all have that line down the right side.

T Rex vs Vivitar UWS

A couple of shots (from a while ago) with the Viv at Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake.

It was really hot and way sunny - I should have used a different film. Most of the roll came out too washed out since it was too bright for this 400 speed film. It's a shame since I took some pictures of the giraffes being awesome and giving high fives and juggling and stuff and of the monkeys doing Act I Scene I from Romeo and Juliet. At least I got Mr. T. Rex. The second picture is the last frame on the roll of film. Those usually come out looking pretty cool with the crazy edges and stuff.

Fuji NPZ 800 expired

I got the chance to hang out adeventure with Kevin and Miquelle and shoot some engagements while they were down here in AZ visiting. We ended up walking around off the road somewhere near Saguaro Lake and getting lots of cactus needles and other pokey things stuck everywhere.
I'll post more pictures soon!

We've got a new little girl at our house! I had already posted these on our family blog but thought they fit well here also.
