Tri Cities, WA

I spent a weekend last month working on some scenery and landscape photography for a project. As mentioned previously, I don't shoot a lot of landscape stuff but I think there were some keepers. And holy wow, you get some really vivid and contrasty colors on Fuji NPZ 800 at sunrise and sunset.

Kevin / Miquelle

I'm heading up to Utah in a couple of weeks for some wedding celebrations. Kevin and Miquelle are getting married!

I had a great time walking around and exploring with them when they were in town a couple of months ago.

Sister, Aunt, Attempted Somersault

Canon EOS 3
Fuji NPZ 800

We recently had my brother and my sisters, my parents, and two aunts come stay with us for a family reunion of sorts. It was a full house and we had a fun time with everyone. More pictures will be posted soon when I get all the film back from the lab.

Scott / Samantha

Canon EOS 3
Fuji NPZ 800 and Kodak Portra 400

I was finally able to try out the new(ish) Portra 400 and holy crap... awesome! Scott and Samantha just bought a house (holy loft space, legos and arcade games Batman!) and were awesome enough to let us hang out and take some pictures.

Ryan, Emily and Elliott

Trying out my new EC-S focusing screen on Ryan and Emily and their new baby girl Elliott:

It used to be super difficult to get the focus right at wide apertures but this new focusing screen has made my life so much easier.

Bored Pt. II

Canon EOS 3
Fuji NPZ 800

More from "I'm So Bored Of Everything I'm Taking Pictures Of" series. I know, why even bother posting these, right? I'm hoping that continuously posting pictures, even ones I consider really mediocre, will keep me in the habit of shooting. Practice, practice, practice.

This picture represents my boredom with most everything I have been taking pictures of the last few weeks. I need an adventure.

Utah - Vivitar

More from our trip to Utah a month ago:

Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim
Fuji NPZ 800

The photo lab I took my film to scanned one of the rolls from the Utah trip wrong. For each scanned frame there was half of two pictures. Ugh... You get what you pay for. Anyway, I finally got around to having them re-scan it.

Being a plastic point-and-shoot toy camera, you get some pretty cool looking stuff with the Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim when you put aside rules about composition and everything else and just shoot.
