J Tillman's albums have always been growers for me; the first couple times I'll listen I'm usually unimpressed, but for some reason I keep playing them on repeat. Then after a couple of weeks of listening to his albums I'm am always blown away. Singing Ax took me even longer. Still, I am not the least bit disappointed. About a month after it's release I am absolutely loving this album.
